CodyCross is a game very similar to a crossword where you've got to see which words fit in each horizontal space, to create a longer word or a vertical phrase. Plus every time you correctly enter a word you can discover some extra letters that serve as clues.
The game system in CodyCross is a lot like that of a traditional crossword: in each line you've got a short description of the word we're looking for. For example, sometimes you can read 'sport played with a hoop'... and the answer is definitely 'basketball.'
In CodyCross you'll find hundreds and hundreds of phases, each with some dozen words you have to check out. As is logical, the first words are pretty simple, but as you move forward you'll come across some quite complicated ones.
CodyCross is an excellent puzzle game thanks to help you learn vocab while you have fun. A very interesting title that manages to evolve upon the traditional crossword concept.
